Continuous Extraction

There are different types. Rotacell extractor, band extractor, slider extractor, immersion extraction

In continuous extraction, both the cake and solvent moves on a counter-flow principle.

Distillation is done under vacuum. In the toaster, the cake is separated from the solvent by mixing and heating.  Solvent level is 250-350 ppm in oil and cake
